Meet Caroline Grossinger President in Lincolnwood, IL
There is a lot that goes in to building a successful and trusted auto dealership, and Grossinger Autoplex is proud to follow the leadership of our president Caroline Grossinger. She is so dedicated to making the automotive business better for customers and employees that she instills her personal mission to “find a better way, every day” in everyone who becomes a part of the Grossinger family. In fact, family is something that is very close to all of us and has been a central focus all the way back to our humble beginnings in 1928. Hard work and a steadfast commitment to what’s best for customers has not only made the Grossinger Auto Group the longest standing family owned and operated dealership in Illinois, we are recognized as one of the best auto groups in the country. Our continued success today is thanks, in large part, to the vision and guidance of Caroline Grossinger.
Caroline carried on the family tradition of hard work, tenacity, and ethics as she entered Wellesley College in Massachusetts. Her focus led her to graduating Magna cum Laude with a double major in political science and economics, as well as her being elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Caroline Grossinger then worked full time while she earned her Masters of Business degree from the University of Chicago. Today, along with her brother Gary, Caroline Grossinger is heavily involved and constantly striving to make the ten locations and twenty franchises that make up Grossinger Auto Group even better. She has also been elected to, or asked to serve on, a variety of influential boards including the Toyota Regional Dealer Council, National Dealer Council Board for Directors for Capital One Bank, Board of Directors for First Bank and Trust of Evanston Bank, and Caroline is a current member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
We maintain a huge respect for Caroline Grossinger, but what she’s really proud of is her involvement in charitable work. Caroline finds it particularly important that the communities around the Grossinger dealerships benefit beyond exceptional customer service and great jobs. This is why Caroline Grossinger maintains an active role in the Sam and Sarah Grossinger Foundation, a family non-profit that focuses on improving education, communities, and multiple other causes across the nation. Caroline understands that our children are our future, and she is especially proud of to be on the Chicago Children’s Choir Board of Directors where she helps underprivileged youth experience, and find opportunities in, the arts and leadership through after school programs that these children may not otherwise enjoy.
